ASPA’s Section on Science and Technology in Government (SSTG) will host a symposium at the University of Massachusetts Boston on April 5. The conference will feature top Massachusetts technology leaders as well as top scholars in e-government.
The symposium will address Technological Innovation in Government: Toward Open and Smart Government. Among the topics that will discussed throughout the day are Innovative e-Government Best Practices; Open Government and Government 2.0; Data Innovation – Using Data in the Public Sector; and Online Civic Engagement.
Expected speakers include Bill Oates, chief information officer for Massachusetts, Elizabeth Bruce, director of the MIT Big Data Project and Stuart Shulman, founder of Innovations in eRulemaking. To see a full list of speakers, click here.
