The Northeast Conference on Public Administration (NECoPA) will host its annual conference on the campus of George Mason University, Nov. 5-7, 2015. This conference will mark NECoPA’s sixth anniversary of bringing together scholars and practitioners from the Northeast region, the United States and internationally.
The theme for the conference is “Challenges of Governance in Global Uncertainty.” Attendees will learn from experts and gather insights from colleagues about the policy and management problems that were once international in scope but are now state and/or local concerns. Topics to be covered include homeland security, immigration reform, environmental hazards, universal health care, public-private partnerships and third party governance.

Thursday, Nov. 5 Workshops
Friday, Nov. 6 Registration, opening plenary, concurrent sessions and reception
Saturday, Nov. 7 Registration, breakfast, concurrent sessions and lunch speaker
The registration costs are $135 for professionals and $80 for students. This fee includes two breakfasts, two lunches and the reception. Students must provide documentation of their school status at check in.
