Action Research: Learning By Doing
Action research, often called participatory research or collaborative inquiry, is more scientific than simple problem-solving. It engages the subjects of research. In the workplace, research action allows employees them to see themselves as competent, respected and engaged. Action research also contributes to the public administration field because it increases the understanding of how ideas and theories work, or do not, in the real world.
