NAPA and ASPA conclude their transition memos series on administrative challenges that face the next administration with a focus on managing big initiatives, next steps in improving performance, and managing large task public-private partnerships.

On Friday, November 9 at 10 a.m to discuss the final release in the Memos to National Leaders series.

WHAT WILL BE DISCUSSED

Managing Big Initiatives – This set of memoranda explores lessons we can learn about how a nation with deeply held attachments to private markets and local communities can effectively manage cross-sectorial responses to major national economic and social crises.

Next Steps in Improving Performance – This set of memoranda addresses whether new initiatives have made a difference and what more needs to be done to make government more results-oriented.

Managing Large Task Public-Private Partnerships – This set of memoranda discusses whether or not this shift is temporary or the wave of the future, and whether government and its managers can hold their own during this change.
