Social entrepreneurship has become an increasingly popular topic in the nonprofit sector, but there remains a great deal of confusion about it.

What exactly is a social enterprise?

How do we start one? Is there funding out there for this sort of thing? How do we measure performance? Is this even legal? This webinar will explore some of the basic concepts of social entrepreneurship and provide guidance on issues like the law, funding, and performance management.

Billie Sandberg, Ph.D., is an assistant professor of public administration in the Mark O. Hatfield School of Government at Portland State University. Her primary research and teaching interests are in nonprofit management.
