Former ASPA National Council Representative and New York Metropolitan Chapter President Stephen R. Rolandi was recently elected Trustee of the New Amsterdam History Center (NAHC). Established in 2005 and chartered by the State of New York, NAHC is a virtual not-for-profit educational organization that links the past to the present through public lectures, discussions, newsletters, tours and online research resources, all of which enrich the understanding of the diverse peoples who contributed to the founding of New York City.
Rolandi, a native of Brooklyn, New York, is a graduate of Xaverian High School and holds Bachelor of Arts and Master of Public Administration degrees from New York University. After retiring from a distinguished career with the Federal, State and City (NY) governments, he is currently an adjunct professor of public administration at Pace University and the John Jay College of Criminal Justice, City University of New York (CUNY). Rolandi’s term runs from 2025 to 2030.
Author: Stephen R. Rolandi retired in 2015 after serving with the State and City of New York. He holds BA and MPA degrees from New York University, and studied law at Brooklyn Law School. He teaches public finance and management as an Adjunct Professor of Public Administration at John Jay College of Criminal Justice (CUNY) and Pace University. Professor Rolandi is a Trustee of NECoPA; President-emeritus/Senior Advisor for ASPA’s New York Metropolitan Chapter and past Senior National Council Representative. He has served on many association boards, and is a frequent guest commentator on public affairs and political issues affecting the nation and New York State.
