Invitation to 2015 CIMPAD – ZSPA International Conference

The Consortium for International Management, Policy, Administration and Development (CIMPAD), in partnership with the Zambian Society for Public Administration (ZSPA), will host its 10th International Conference from June 23 – June 25, 2015, in Livingstone, Zambia. The theme of the conference is “Ideals and Practice of Good Governance in Sub-Saharan Africa.”

The mission of the conference is to strengthen and promote public sector leadership and management in the sustainable development of communities. Participants will learn about the application of best practices in pursuit of good governance in an African context.

The program committee invites research papers and poster projects, along with discussion papers. Preliminary tracts and themes can be found here. Submit a one page, double-spaced proposal with your name, title, address, institution or organization, email and phone number.

Send paper and poster proposals by April 30, 2015 to the following individuals and put CIMPAD Conference 2015 in the subject heading:

There will also be a master class for public administration practitioners, business leaders and community stakeholders that will run simultaneously with conference. The committee seeks experienced individuals to help facilitate classes in the areas of leadership, performance management, information management, financial management, strategic planning and human resources. Master-class facilitators should send a vitae/resume and information about your facilitator experience. Be sure to specify the session you would be interested in leading.

Registration is $230 (U.S. dollars) per person. A preliminary schedule is now available.
