Cybersecurity, Data Mining Tops Agenda at Government Auditors Forum

The 21st Biennial Forum of Government Auditors takes place May 10-12, 2016, in Kansas City, Mo. The theme of this year’s forum is “Changing Times and New Approaches to Accountability.” U.S. Comptroller General Gene L. Dodaro will deliver the opening keynote address and the Missouri State Auditor, Nicole Galloway, will discuss issues in auditing cybersecurity.

Forum attendees will enjoy numerous networking opportunities as they share best practices, increase their knowledge and help strengthen the public sector auditing profession. Topics to be addressed include new developments in data, smart cities and smart government, innovations in oversight, as well as challenges faced by leaders at all levels of government and preparing those governments for change.

The cost is $295 and the event provides 14 CPEs. There is a special student rate of $100.
