The 36th Annual Teaching Public Administration Conference Issues Call for Proposals

 

The Section on Public Administration Education (SPAE) is hosting the 36th Annual Teaching Public Administration Conference (TPAC) on June 3-5, 2013, in San Francisco’s Japantown. Conference site co-hosts are the University of San Francisco School of Management and Presidio Graduate School.

The 2013 TPAC organizers have issued a call for proposals discussing the following topics or similar ideas that will be featured during this year’s conference.

  • Widely observed changes in the 21st century workplace, workforce, and educational institutions
  • Faculty demonstrations and documented successes in developing professional competencies across student populations from diverse backgrounds
  • Developing cutting-edge robust and pedagogically sound curriculum
  • Incorporating new technologies and e-learning
  • Support for junior/untenured faculty who function in such a changing organizational climate.
