The Independent Woman Launches Free Financial Training Series for Metro D.C. Area

Defining financial freedom and providing financial security are at the heart of a brand new series of free workshops hosted by The Independent Woman. The workshops will be held in the Washington, D.C. area from Monday, October 28 through Wednesday, October 30.

According to The Independent Woman’s founder and bestselling author Kim Kiyosaki, “Every woman I know would like more out of life. More time, more money, and more freedom to enjoy life to its fullest. This training can benefit any woman – career-minded, single moms, married with children, regardless of age or income level.”

These free, two-hour financial workshops have been designed by women for women, with input and guidance from Kiyosaki. Each workshop will speak to the financial beginner as well as those women who are already actively investing and want do more. Attendees will be encouraged to identify what financial freedom means to them and identify ways to achieve their goals. While Kiyosaki will not be in attendance, the workshops will be led by accomplished businesswoman and instructor Joanna Larsen.

The free workshops will be held at the following locations:

• Monday, October 28: The Residence Inn Hotel by Marriott (Bethesda, MD)
• Tuesday, October 29: The Holiday Inn Hotel (Arlington, VA)
• Wednesday, October 30: The Courtyard by Marriott (McLean, VA)
